Ford House is a 3 bed, 2 bathroom cottage dating back in parts to the 17th century and was once two cottages - a special retreat for couples, family and friends. The coastal blue, soft greys and off-white scheme runs throughout the cottage.
A hand built painted kitchen with a stylish AGA, two drawer dishwasher and separate oven and hob. Refectory table with benches and chairs seating 6.
A double ended living area with open fireplace, log burning stove and natural coir flooring.
A downstairs bathroom with roll top bath, WC and console basin.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one king sized bedroom, a super king/twin bedroom and a third with a set of bunk beds (only suitable for children). A shower room with WC, walk-in rain shower and console basin.
Ford House has free wifi, free view TV, DVD player, Apple docking station, bluetooth digital radio, two drawer dishwasher, AGA, electric oven and hob, hairdryer, central heating, wood-burning stove and underfloor heating. Access to washing machine and iron. Towels, linen and logs provided.
Ford House has two gardens, one of which is a private courtyard and an enclosed garden, both with tables and chairs.
There is a private driveway with parking for up to three vehicles.
The cottage is a non-smoking / non-vaping area and pets are welcome (one well behaved dog although extra upon request).
